TECH TIM
12 episodes talking to the people who build technology in Brazil and the people who use it.
Karol Attekita
I'm Karol Attekita, a senior engineer at Riot Games. I teach tech through over 15 years of experience building software, with work recognized by the Apple Developer Community Recognition.
Impact
The numbers below are exciting, but what actually matters to me is something else: thinking of my content as a tool for transformation. That is what makes sense to me.
657 videos on the channel so far. Some good, some not so much.

Partnerships
It is not just sponsored posts. Everything I publish starts from delivering value to the people who follow me, and partnerships follow the same rule: most of the time a brand calls me precisely to explain something, and that is where I work best.
12 episodes talking to the people who build technology in Brazil and the people who use it.
Interviews with influential names in tech about careers, remote work, and life inside teams.

Educational content, from short formats to full lessons, built on a beginner's real problems.

Masterclasses on freelancing and international careers, lived firsthand before being taught.
Schedule
I take the stage to talk about AI, the market, and careers. If your event needs someone who explains without promising the impossible, we will get along.

Awards and lists come and go. I keep these because every one of them came from people judging the work of teaching, not the work of being seen.

Over 15 years in the field and 5 national awards as a game developer between 2014 and 2019. Today I am a software engineer at Riot Games, specialising in mobile. That is where what I teach comes from.
About

I'm Karol Attekita, a Visual Arts graduate. I moved into software engineering before the first iPhone existed. My path into technology began with that mix of art and programming.
For seven years, I ran my own game development studio, Funbites Games Studio, which earned five national awards.
I also spent nearly ten years freelancing for teams in Brazil and internationally. Today I'm a software engineer at Riot Games, specialising in mobile. What I teach comes from that experience of building software, running a studio, and working with different teams.
At some point I realised that explaining what I did helped more people than doing it alone. That is how the channel started, and it is why it covers AI, the market, and careers, rather than phone launches. I’m also part of Google AI Insiders.
I do not think technology will save or destroy the world. I think it is built by tired people, on tight deadlines, making reasonable decisions with incomplete information. Talking about that without drama is my job.
I get things wrong plenty, by the way, and I say so when I do. You can be sure that shows up in the videos.
